๐Ÿ“œ FEAR OF YAHUAH

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM

"The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding."
— Mishlei (Proverbs) 9:10

๐Ÿ•Ž What Does It Mean to Fear Yahuah?

To fear Yahuah is not to tremble as one fearing a cruel master.

It is to stand in awe, reverence, and total submission before the One who created all things —

to recognize that He alone holds life and death, blessing and curse,

and to love Him enough to obey His Word completely.

This is why Scripture teaches that fear and love are not opposites — they are intertwined.

You cannot love Yahuah without fearing Him,

and you cannot fear Him without keeping His commandments.

๐Ÿ“– "Fear" = Obedience. "Love" = Faithfulness.

"For this is the love of Elohiym, that we guard His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous."
— 1 Yochanon (1 John) 5:3

To fear Yahuah is to revere His Word enough to do what it says.

To love Yahuah is to remain faithful even when the world mocks your obedience.

And to walk in wisdom is to understand that His commandments are not burdens, but blessings — divine boundaries that protect, guide, and preserve His people.

⚖️ The Connection Between Fear, Wisdom, and Love

Attribute Expression Result
Fear of Yahuah Reverence and obedience Wisdom
Love for Yahuah Faithful commandment-keeping Relationship
Wisdom Living according to His Torah Life and understanding

So when you fear Yahuah, you begin to love Him.

When you love Him, you obey Him.

And when you obey Him, He grants you wisdom and understanding — the treasures of heaven.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Error of the Lawless

Many claim to love Yahuah but despise His commandments.

Yet the Word declares:

"He that says, 'I know Him,' and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
— 1 Yochanon (1 John) 2:4

True fear of Yahuah leaves no room for rebellion.

True love for Yahuah leaves no desire for sin.

The one who truly believes will walk as Yahusha walked — in obedience, holiness, and truth.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Reflection

If fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom,

then disobedience is the beginning of folly.

Let us, therefore, fear Him rightly —

not with dread, but with reverence;

not with terror, but with love.

For the same Yahuah who commands us to obey also promises mercy to those who walk in His ways.

๐Ÿ™ Closing Prayer

Abba Yahuah,
teach us to fear You rightly,
to walk humbly and faithfully in Your commandments.

Let our reverence produce obedience,
and our obedience perfect love.

For in loving You, we find wisdom;
and in fearing You, we find life everlasting.

Amein.
