๐ TORAH READING – Devariym (Deuteronomy) 32:28–52
- For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.
- O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
- How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and Yahuah had shut them up?
- For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
- For their vine is of the vine of Cedom, and of the fields of Amorah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
- Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
- Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
- To me belongs vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
- For Yahuah shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
- And he shall say, Where are their elohiym, their rock in whom they trusted,
- Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
- See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no elohiym with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
- For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever.
- If I whet my glittering sword, and my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
- I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
- Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
- And Mosheh came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Yahusha the son of Nun.
- And Mosheh made an end of speaking all these words to all Yashar'el:
- And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to guard to do, all the words of this Torah.
- For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over the Yardan to possess it.
- And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh that selfsame day, saying,
- Get you up into this mountain Avariym, unto Mount Nevo, which is in the land of Mo'av, that is over against Yeriycho; and behold the land of Kena`an, which I give unto the children of Yashar'el for a possession:
- And die in the mount whither you go up, and be gathered unto your people; as Aharon your brother died in Mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:
- Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Yashar'el at the waters of Meriyvah-Qadesh, in the wilderness of Tsin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Yashar'el.
- Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Yashar'el.
๐ PROPHETS READING – Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 44:6–11
- Thus says Yahuah the King of Yashar'el, and his redeemer Yahuah Tseva'oth; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no Elohiym.
- And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them show unto them.
- Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told you from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there an Eloah beside me? yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.
- They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
- Who has formed an el, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
- Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
๐ PSALM – Tehilliym (Psalm) 18:30–35
- As for El, his way is perfect: the Word of Yahuah is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
- For who is Eloah save Yahuah? or who is a Rock save our Elohiym?
- It is El that girds me with strength, and makes my way perfect.
- He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places.
- He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
- You have also given me the shield of your yeshu`ah: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.
๐ BRIT CHADASHAH – Romaiym (Romans) 11:25–29
- For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Yashar'el, until the fulness of the other nations be come in.
- And so all Yashar'el shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Tsiyon the Deliverer, and shall turn away wickedness from Ya'aqov:
- For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
- As concerning the Besorah, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
- For the gifts and calling of Elohiym are without repentance.
๐ SUPPORTIVE READING – 3 Malkiym (Third Book of Kings) 8:56–61
- Blessed be Yahuah, that has given rest unto his people Yashar'el, according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Mosheh his servant.
- Yahuah Elohaynu be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:
- That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to guard his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
- And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before Yahuah, be nigh unto Yahuah Elohaynu day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Yashar'el at all times, as the matter shall require:
- That all the people of the earth may know that Yahuah is Elohiym, and that there is none else.
- Let your heart therefore be perfect with Yahuah Elohaynu, to walk in his statutes, and to guard his commandments, as at this day.
✨ THEME FOR TODAY
Yahuah alone is the Rock and Redeemer. All idols are vanity, and there is no el besides Him. Though Mosheh could only look upon the land, Yahusha leads us forward. We are called to trust fully in Yahuah, who strengthens us and keeps covenant with His people forever.
๐ CLOSING PRAYER AND REFLECTION
O Yahuah Elohaynu, You alone are the Rock of our salvation. Keep us from trusting in false elohiym or leaning upon our own strength. Let our hearts be inclined to You always, that we may walk in Your ways and guard Your commandments. Strengthen us with Your Ruach, as You strengthened Mosheh and Yahusha, and help us to rejoice in Your everlasting covenant. In the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, Amein.
