Seven Days of Dwelling with Yahuah

"Ye shall rejoice before Yahuah Elohaykem seven days!"

๐Ÿ“– TORAH READING – Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:33–44

  1. And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,
  2. Speak unto the children of Yashar'el, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Cukkoth for seven days unto Yahuah.
  3. On the first day shall be a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein.
  4. Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah: on the eighth day shall be a holy assembly unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
  5. These are the feasts of Yahuah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy assemblies, to offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
  6. Beside the Shabbaths of Yahuah, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto Yahuah.
  7. Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yahuah seven days: on the first day shall be a Shabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Shabbath.
  8. And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yahuah Elohaykem seven days.
  9. And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yahuah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  10. Ye shall dwell in cukkoth seven days; all that are Yashar'el born shall dwell in cukkoth:
  11. That your generations may know that I made the children of Yashar'el to dwell in cukkoth, when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim: I am Yahuah Elohaykem.
  12. And Mosheh declared unto the children of Yashar'el the feasts of Yahuah.

๐Ÿ“– TORAH SUPPORTING READING – Devariym (Deuteronomy) 16:13–17

  1. You shall observe the Feast of Cukkoth seven days, after that you have gathered in your corn and your wine:
  2. And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Leviy, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates.
  3. Seven days shall you keep a solemn feast unto Yahuah Elohayka in the place which Yahuah shall choose: because Yahuah Elohayka shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the works of your hands, therefore you shall surely rejoice.
  4. Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Yahuah Elohayka in the place which he shall choose; in the Feast of Matstsoth, and in the Feast of Shavuoth, and in the Feast of Cukkoth: and they shall not appear before Yahuah empty:
  5. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yahuah Elohayka which he has given you.

๐Ÿ“– PROPHETS READING – Zakaryahu (Zechariah) 14:16–19

  1. And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Yerushalayim shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahuah Tseva'oth, and to keep the Feast of Cukkoth.
  2. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Yerushalayim to worship the King, Yahuah Tseva'oth, even upon them shall be no rain.
  3. And if the family of Mitsrayim go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahuah will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the Feast of Cukkoth.
  4. This shall be the punishment of Mitsrayim, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the Feast of Cukkoth.

๐Ÿ“– PSALM – Tehilliym (Psalm) 118:19–29

  1. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise Yahuah:
  2. This gate of Yahuah, into which the righteous shall enter.
  3. I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my yeshu`ah.
  4. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
  5. This is Yahuah's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
  6. This is the day which Yahuah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
  7. Save now, I beseech you, O Yahuah: O Yahuah, I beseech you, send now prosperity.
  8. Blessed be he that comes in the name of Yahuah: we have blessed you out of the house of Yahuah.
  9. El is Yahuah, which has showed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
  10. You are my Elohiym, and I will praise you: you are my Elohiym, I will exalt you.
  11. O give thanks unto Yahuah; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever.

๐Ÿ“– BRIT CHADASHAH – Yahuchanon (John) 7:1–14

  1. After these things Yahusha walked in Galil: for he would not walk in Yahudah, because the Yahudiym sought to kill him.
  2. Now the Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand.
  3. His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Yahudah, that your disciples also may see the works that you do.
  4. For there is no man that does anything in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.
  5. For neither did his brethren believe in him.
  6. Then Yahusha said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
  7. The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
  8. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
  9. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galil.
  10. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
  11. Then the Yahudiym sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
  12. And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceives the people.
  13. Howbeit no man spoke openly of him for fear of the Yahudiym.
  14. Now about the midst of the feast Yahusha went up into the Temple, and taught.

  4. And there was great joy in Yashar'el seven days.
  5. And the Leviyiym sang before the people with harps and cymbals, saying, "Blessed be Yahuah who brought us out of bondage and made us dwell in His light."
