  2. And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yahuah; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:
  3. And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram,
  4. And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:
  5. And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.

๐Ÿ“– TORAH SUPPORTING READING – Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:39–43

  1. Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yahuah seven days: on the first day shall be a Shabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Shabbath.
  2. And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yahuah Elohaykem seven days.
  3. And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yahuah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  4. Ye shall dwell in cukkoth seven days; all that are Yashar'el born shall dwell in cukkoth:
  5. That your generations may know that I made the children of Yashar'el to dwell in cukkoth, when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim: I am Yahuah Elohaykem.

๐Ÿ“– PROPHETS READING – Melekiym Ri'shon (1 Kings) 8:1–5

  1. Then Shalomah assembled the elders of Yashar'el, and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefs of the fathers of the children of Yashar'el, unto King Shalomah in Yerushalayim, that they might bring up the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah out of the city of David, which is Tsiyon.
  2. And all the men of Yashar'el assembled themselves unto King Shalomah at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
  3. And all the elders of Yashar'el came, and the priests took up the Ark.
  4. And they brought up the Ark of Yahuah, and the Tabernacle of the assembly, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Leviyiym bring up.
  5. And King Shalomah, and all the assembly of Yashar'el that were assembled unto him, were with him before the Ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

๐Ÿ“– PSALM – Tehilliym (Psalm) 84:1–12

  1. How amiable are your tabernacles, O Yahuah Tseva'oth!
  2. My soul longs, yea, even faints for the courts of Yahuah: my heart and my flesh cry out for the living El.
  3. Yea, the sparrow has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even your altars, O Yahuah Tseva'oth, my King, and my Elohiym.
  4. Blessed are they that dwell in your house: they will be still praising you. Selah.
  5. Blessed is the man whose strength is in you; in whose heart are the ways of them.
  6. Who passing through the valley of Baka make it a well; the rain also fills the pools.
  7. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Tsiyon appears before Elohiym.
  8. O Yahuah Elohiym Tseva'oth, hear my prayer: give ear, O Elohiym of Ya'aqov. Selah.
  9. Behold, O Elohiym our shield, and look upon the face of your anointed.
  10. For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my Elohiym, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
  11. For Yahuah Elohiym is a sun and shield: Yahuah will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
  12. O Yahuah Tseva'oth, blessed is the man that trusts in you.

๐Ÿ“– BRIT CHADASHAH – Yahuchanon (John) 7:37–39

  1. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahusha stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
  2. He that believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
  3. (But this spoke he of the Ruach, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Ruach Ha'Qodesh was not yet given; because that Yahusha was not yet glorified.)

๐Ÿ“– SUPPORTIVE READING – Sefer Ha'Yashar (Book of Jasher) 85:32–37

  1. And on the second day of the feast, the people offered their sacrifices with joy.
  2. The elders reminded the people of the commandments of Yahuah, that they should walk in righteousness and rejoice in His mercy.
  3. And the Leviyiym taught the Torah daily in the hearing of all who came near the altar.
  4. The children played in the courtyards, waving palm branches before Yahuah.
  5. And the singers lifted their voices with gladness, saying, "Yahuah our Elohiym, You dwell with us in our tents."
  6. And the joy of Yashar'el was great before Yahuah that day.

✨ THEME FOR TODAY

Sukkoth teaches us to rejoice in Yahuah's presence and remember His faithfulness in every generation. As Shalomah dedicated the Temple during this feast, we remember that our bodies are now living temples for His Ruach, and we rejoice that He dwells within us.

๐Ÿ™ CLOSING PRAYER AND REFLECTION

O Yahuah Elohaynu, thank You for Your dwelling among Your people. Fill us with the rivers of living water that Yahusha promised, and let our joy overflow in Your presence. Help us to remember that You are our shield, our sun, and our strength. Dwell within our hearts and our tents, that all our rejoicing may be found pleasing to You. In the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, Amein.
