  2. And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
  3. And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings.

๐Ÿ“– TORAH SUPPORTING READING – Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:40–43

  1. And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yahuah Elohaykem seven days.
  2. And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yahuah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  3. Ye shall dwell in cukkoth seven days; all that are Yashar'el born shall dwell in cukkoth:
  4. That your generations may know that I made the children of Yashar'el to dwell in cukkoth, when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim: I am Yahuah Elohaykem.

๐Ÿ“– PROPHETS READING – Melekiym Ri'shon (1 Kings) 8:10–13

  1. And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of Yahuah,
  2. So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of Yahuah had filled the house of Yahuah.
  3. Then spoke Shalomah, Yahuah said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
  4. I have surely built you a house to dwell in, a settled place for you to abide in forever.

๐Ÿ“– PSALM – Tehilliym (Psalm) 27:1–6

  1. Yahuah is my light and my yeshu`ah; whom shall I fear? Yahuah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
  2. When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
  3. Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
  4. One thing have I desired of Yahuah, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of Yahuah all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of Yahuah, and to inquire in his Temple.
  5. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
  6. And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto Yahuah.

๐Ÿ“– BRIT CHADASHAH – Chizayon (Revelation) 21:1–4

  1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
  2. And I John saw the holy city, new Yerushalayim, coming down from Elohiym out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
  3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of Elohiym is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohiym himself shall be with them, and be their Elohiym.
  4. And Elohiym shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

๐Ÿ“– SUPPORTIVE READING – Sefer Ha'Yashar (Book of Jasher) 85:38–43

  1. And on the third day of the feast, the cloud of glory rested over the Tabernacle.
  2. The people bowed their faces to the ground, saying, "Yahuah Elohaynu dwells among us!"
  3. And the Leviyiym sang, "Yahuah is our light and our salvation."
  4. The elders proclaimed His mercy endures forever, and the young men rejoiced with dancing.
  5. And the Ruach of Yahuah filled the camp with gladness.
  6. And there was peace in all the tents of Yashar'el that day.

✨ THEME FOR TODAY

The presence of Yahuah fills the house and the hearts of His people. As He dwelt in the cloud over the Tabernacle, He now dwells within those who seek His light. Sukkoth reminds us that His glory is our covering, and His dwelling is forever with the redeemed.

๐Ÿ™ CLOSING PRAYER AND REFLECTION

O Yahuah Elohaynu, our Light and our Salvation, dwell among us as You did in the days of Mosheh and Shalomah. Let Your glory fill our homes and our hearts. Remove fear and replace it with confidence in Your presence. May we walk in the light of Your truth, and may Your Ruach abide within us always. In the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, Amein.
