  1. And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:
  2. And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
  3. And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.
  4. And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish:
  5. And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
  6. And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.

๐Ÿ“– TORAH SUPPORTING READING – Devariym (Deuteronomy) 16:13–15

  1. You shall observe the Feast of Cukkoth seven days, after that you have gathered in your corn and your wine:
  2. And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Leviy, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates.
  3. Seven days shall you keep a solemn feast unto Yahuah Elohayka in the place which Yahuah shall choose: because Yahuah Elohayka shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the works of your hands, therefore you shall surely rejoice.

๐Ÿ“– PROPHETS READING – Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 25:6–9

  1. And in this mountain shall Yahuah Tseva'oth make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
  2. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
  3. He will swallow up death in victory; and Adonai Yahuah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for Yahuah has spoken it.
  4. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our Elohiym; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Yahuah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his yeshu`ah.

๐Ÿ“– PSALM – Tehilliym (Psalm) 100:1–5

  1. Make a joyful noise unto Yahuah, all ye lands.
  2. Serve Yahuah with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
  3. Know ye that Yahuah he is Elohiym: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
  4. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
  5. For Yahuah is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

๐Ÿ“– BRIT CHADASHAH – Qorintiym Sheniy (2 Corinthians) 5:1–5

  1. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of Elohiym, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
  2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
  3. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
  4. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
  5. Now he that has wrought us for the selfsame thing is Elohiym, who also has given unto us the earnest of the Ruach.

๐Ÿ“– SUPPORTIVE READING – Sefer Ha'Yashar (Book of Jasher) 85:50–54

  1. And on the fifth day, the people brought forth their offerings of praise and thanksgiving.
  2. They remembered that Yahuah had destroyed death for His chosen and given them rest in the land.
  3. And the Leviyiym sang, "Yahuah, You are our dwelling place forever, and our Redeemer from all sorrow."
  4. And the people rejoiced, saying, "His mercy endures forever, and His truth unto all generations."
  5. And the Ruach of Yahuah comforted them in their dwellings.

✨ THEME FOR TODAY

The Feast of Sukkoth looks forward to eternal joy in Yahuah's presence. It is a celebration of the victory of life over death and the promise of everlasting dwelling with Him. We rejoice with gladness, knowing that our earthly tents point to an eternal tabernacle not made with hands.

๐Ÿ™ CLOSING PRAYER AND REFLECTION

O Yahuah Elohaynu, we rejoice before You for Your mercy that endures forever. Thank You for the promise of an eternal dwelling in Your presence. As we rest beneath the covering of these temporary booths, teach us to look with hope toward our everlasting home. Swallow up death in victory and fill our hearts with songs of joy. In the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, Amein.
