  2. And their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
  3. And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.
  4. On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein.
  5. But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Yahuah: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish:
  6. Their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
  7. And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.

๐Ÿ“– TORAH SUPPORTING READING – Devariym (Deuteronomy) 31:9–13

  1. And Mosheh wrote this Torah, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Leviy, which bore the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah, and unto all the elders of Yashar'el.
  2. And Mosheh commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the Feast of Cukkoth,
  3. When all Yashar'el is come to appear before Yahuah Elohayka in the place which he shall choose, you shall read this Torah before all Yashar'el in their hearing.
  4. Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Yahuah Elohaykem, and guard to do all the words of this Torah:
  5. And that their children, which have not known anything, may hear, and learn to fear Yahuah Elohaykem, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over the Yardan to possess it.

๐Ÿ“– PROPHETS READING – Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 12:1–6

  1. And in that day you shall say, O Yahuah, I will praise you: though you were angry with me, your anger is turned away, and you comforted me.
  2. Behold, El is my yeshu`ah; I will trust, and not be afraid: for Yahuah Yahuah is my strength and my song; he also is become my yeshu`ah.
  3. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of yeshu`ah.
  4. And in that day shall ye say, Praise Yahuah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
  5. Sing unto Yahuah; for he has done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
  6. Cry out and shout, you inhabitant of Tsiyon: for great is the Holy One of Yashar'el in the midst of you.

๐Ÿ“– PSALM – Tehilliym (Psalm) 118:19–29

  1. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise Yahuah:
  2. This gate of Yahuah, into which the righteous shall enter.
  3. I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my yeshu`ah.
  4. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
  5. This is Yahuah's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
  6. This is the day which Yahuah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
  7. Save now, I beseech you, O Yahuah: O Yahuah, I beseech you, send now prosperity.
  8. Blessed be he that comes in the name of Yahuah: we have blessed you out of the house of Yahuah.
  9. El is Yahuah, which has showed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
  10. You are my Elohiym, and I will praise you: you are my Elohiym, I will exalt you.
  11. O give thanks unto Yahuah; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever.

๐Ÿ“– BRIT CHADASHAH – Yahuchanon (John) 7:37–44

  1. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahusha stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
  2. He that believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
  3. (But this spoke he of the Ruach, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Ruach Ha'Qodesh was not yet given; because that Yahusha was not yet glorified.)
  4. Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
  5. Others said, This is the Mashiach. But some said, Shall Mashiach come out of Galil?
  6. Has not the Scripture said, That Mashiach comes of the seed of David, and out of the town of Beyth Lechem, where David was?
  7. So there was a division among the people because of him.
  8. And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.

๐Ÿ“– SUPPORTIVE READING – Sefer Ha'Yashar (Book of Jasher) 85:61–67

  1. And on the seventh day of the Feast, the people cried aloud, "Hoshea-na, Yahuah, save now!"
  2. And the priests brought forth water from the spring and poured it out before Yahuah as a remembrance of His provision in the wilderness.
  3. And the Leviyiym sang, "With joy we draw water from the wells of salvation."
  4. The people rejoiced greatly, waving their branches before Yahuah.
  5. And the sound of shofars filled the camp, declaring His victory and mercy.
  6. The Ruach of Yahuah fell upon the people, and they prophesied praises unto Him.
  7. And Yahuah's glory filled the assembly, and there was exceeding great joy.

✨ THEME FOR TODAY

Hoshana Rabbah — "the great salvation" — reminds us that Yahuah is the source of living waters. On this final day of Sukkoth, His people cry out for deliverance and rejoice in the salvation that comes through Yahusha Ha'Mashiach. The outpouring of water symbolizes the Ruach poured out upon all who believe.

๐Ÿ™ CLOSING PRAYER AND REFLECTION

O Yahuah Elohaynu, Fountain of Living Waters, we rejoice in Your salvation and cry out, "Hoshea-na! Save now!" Pour out Your Ruach upon us as You did in the days of old. Let the joy of Your deliverance overflow in our hearts like rivers of living water. Dwell among us, and make us vessels fit for Your glory. In the name of Yahusha Ha'Mashiach, Amein.
